During the 2020 Presidential Election, the national broadcasting company of both Switzerland and Italy brought me on as a digital content producer. I pitched stories, edited content, drove and did all levels of digital production for the trip. These videos were edited in Adobe Premiere and were shot on a Samsung A51 & Panasonic GH5. The 2 week trip was done with the intent of capturing real American perspectives about the upcoming election.

In Red Texas

This piece, reported by Emiliano Bos tells the story of our first 2 days in Texas. We were granted an audience with the chairperson of the Republican party in Vega, Texas. The piece was mostly shot in and around a small Mexican restaurant on Route 66. This piece was pitched, shot and edited in about 12 hours with much of the editing taking place in the RV itself.

The Miami of Texas

This piece, originally reported by Raphael Grand, visited a small town in the large state of Texas. Miami, Texas is home to a unique statistic. In the 2016 Presidential election Miami, Texas voted over 95% for Donald Trump. We visited the town and got to interview the city’s only Judge. His main job consists of tire repair and he oversees court cases as they show up in the city. He showcases the town’s perspective on why they chose him as president in 2016.
